...When you hold your hands upside down, to whom are you praying? And who is praying to whom? Is what you get the opposite of what you are asking for? Or will the recipient of the supplications know any way, because s/he/it is omnipotent and all knowing?

~~~~~~~~ This piece was submitted as part of the summer contest for After browsing the entries, I decided to take a different interpretation of the idea of hands and reflections. The word "reflection" in this piece has a double meaning--first, and most obviously, the mirror as providing a reflection, but reflection also in the idea of reflecting back while one is meditating or praying. I suppose one could also say that some people pray that summer never ends.
